Siirtolapuutarha is the name of the collection, which includes the Marimekko Oiva Räsymatto teapot. The Finnish word means as much as “small garden” and describes the colourful mix of the products that belong to it.
The origin of the Marimekko Oiva Räsymatto teapot is as well colourful: The iconic Räsymatto pattern was created by Maija Louekari, while Sami Routsalainen designed the shape of the Oiva jug.
The capacity of 700 ml makes the Oiva Räsymatto teapot suitable for several cups of tea. The pot also has an included tea strainer, which makes it possible to prepare the hot drink directly in the pot.
Marimekko produces the Oiva Räsymatto teapot out of stoneware. The lid as well as the handle are made of wood and the strainer of ceramics.
