Design wok for light and healthy dishes
The Edo Wok by Alessi is part of a timeless and elegant series of pots and pans designed by Patricia Urquiola. With the wok and the appropriate insert, light and healthy dishes can be prepared with little fat and while retaining all the active ingredients of the food. The graceful design, which is typical for the pots and pans of the Edo series, means that the wok can also serve as a serving bowl on the dining table.
The designer was inspired for the series by the clear and graceful Japanese language of form. The name of the series derives from the Latin word "edere", which means "to eat", and is also the old name of the Japanese capital Tokyo.
The wok is made of Multiply (AISI 430, aluminium, 18/10 stainless steel) with a 18/10 stainless steel lid. The 18/10 stainless steel handles are provided with a brown PVD coating and are reminiscent of leather straps. The magnetic steel base is suitable for all types of cookers. The wok can also be used on induction stoves.
Typical for Italian cookware, the lids are available separately on request.
