In 1959 revolutionized mono A the tables of this world. The abandonment of all design elements that otherwise belonged to the lavish decoration of place settings, was a milestone on the way to modern, industrial design of everyday objects.
The table designed by Prof. Peter Raacke mono A cutlery was initially stamped from a single piece of stainless steel, a so-called monoblock, hence its striking, industrial-looking name. Today, the knife is made of two types of steel: the handle is made of a stainless steel, the blade of high-quality hardened steel.
What was considered avant-garde in 1959 has now become a classic of table culture, for mono A combines noble design with the highest quality workmanship.
Numerous awards and exhibitions at home and abroad have made the mono A have made the cutlery famous. Today it is considered the best-selling German design cutlery of the post-war period.
