Salad cutlery from oak
The Kähler Design Hammershøi series is characterized by an exciting interplay of three natural materials: oak, glass and ceramics. The exclusive salad cutlery is represented by the element of wood. It consists of hard-wearing, dark oak and perfectly suits the elegant ceramic elements in Nordic colours.
The Hammershøi objects are a connection to the original design atelier of Kähler, where the famous artist Svend Hammershøi worked with exactly the same techniques serving as inspiration for the cutlery today.
Functionality and design
The Norwegian designer Hans-Christian Bauer managed to connect high functionality and the appealing look when he developed the Hammershøi salad servers. The salad servers don’t only look gorgeous on a served table, but they’re also pleasant to be held.
