Cotton-linen blend potholder with plant pattern
The Pienet Elokuun Varjot potholder from Marimekko features a summery, wild plant design. The potholder is produced from a material blend of cotton and linen and filled with polyester. There is a loop for hanging the item.
The designer Maija Louekari was inspired by her own overgrown garden for the motif Elokuun varjot (in German: Augustschatten) 2020. Louekari is fascinated by the changing seasons of the north - the new beginnings and lush growth that follows year after year. This pattern is an ode to greenery, freedom and warm winds.
