Rocking drinking glass in a set of 4

The Rocking Glass by designer Britt Bonnessen is a simple but original drinking glass from the manufacturer Normann Copenhagen .

Supposedly, Britt Bonnessen came up with the idea for Rocking Glass during a film about propeller planes: "To Rocking Glass I was stimulated by older drinking glasses, as they were used in first class on board of airplanes. These glasses were constructed in such a way that they could not tip over and the contents could not be tipped out".

Ergonomic, robust design

And indeed, the "rocking glasses" from Normann Copenhagen at first seem simply funny, but at second glance they are just as practical and ergonomic. The extremely rounded shape of the glasses gives you the feeling of holding a ball in your hands; when you put the glass down, its rocking motion makes you smile.

The Rocking Glass is a robust glass that can be used as a drinking glass, for hot and cold drinks, but also as a dessert glass.

The Rocking Glasses are delivered in a set of 4.

Product video of the Rocking Glass from Normann Copenhagen

In the video the set of 4 Rocking Glasses is unpacked. The clou is immediately recognizable: they rock on the flat surface and bring themselves back into balance again and again. As soon as liquid is poured in, you can see that the glasses from Normann Copenhagen are not only fun, but also practical and ergonomic.
