For Breakfast or as Cutting or Snack Board
Apparently, the designer Sabine Schuhmacher of the side by side team wasn’t able to decide which wood to pick - hence, she manufactured two sorts of wood. The result: warm oak wood with bright maple wood. Due to the high content of tannic acid in the oak wood, the cutting boards are naturally anti-bacterial and can be cleaned just like all the other common wooden items in the kitchen. Oiling the wood leads to highlight the special grain of the oak wood.
High-quality Wood
Despite daily use, the hard oak wood is very durable but just like every other wooden item being in contact with food, it needs a regular cleaning. The high-quality cutting boards are manufactured in the Caritas Wendelstein workshops.
Please note: the cutting board is NOT dishwasher safe!
