Siirtolapuutarha is the somewhat cryptic name of the series from which Marimekko's Oiva Räsymatto plate comes from. The Finnish word means something like "allotment" and describes the colourful mixture of the associated products.

Just as colourful is the origin of the Marimekko Oiva Räsymatto plate: the iconic Räsymatto pattern was created by Maija Louekari, while Sami Ruotsalainen designed the shape of the Oiva plate.

With different diameters the plate has the right Oiva Räsymatto the right size for side dishes. Marimekko manufactures the plate from stoneware.

Anniversary plate with gold rim

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Siirtolapuutarha series, Marimekko offers the plate with a gold rim. The hand-painted gold rim adds sparkling accents and makes the plate a special eye-catcher on the table. The Oiva Siirtolapuutarha plate is made of stoneware. Due to the gold edge, it is recommended to wash the plate by hand.
