The "pop" cutting mat set made by Joseph Joseph is perfect to take on a variety of tasks in the preparation of food.
Each board has a double-sided, knife-friendly cutting surface and is clearly colour-coded: This allows allocation of the individual mats to various foods and minimizing the chance of cross-contamination. Their flexibility means that they can be bent to direct chopped food into a pan or pot. In addition, the flexible surface is a gentle cutting base - not just for work surfaces and tables, but also for knife blades.
The ‘hole’ detail is designed to allow the boards to be joined by simply pushing them together - therfore the mats will always be handy and it also provides the perfect hanging point. The mats are made out of polypropylene and can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
