Bread box with removable cutting board
The Mattina bread box by Alessi was designed by the design trio Big Game and presents a multi-purpose object that was developed for a daily ritual and wants to enhance it: eating bread to strengthen oneself and satisfy hunger together with others.
Mattina is not just a simple bread topper, but a container with a lid that serves as a practical cutting board and is structured in such a way that the crumbs do not spread on the dining table. A versatile item that can also be used to serve breakfast on the dining table.
Steel and bamboo wood
The box of the design object is made of steel, while the cutting board is made of epoxy resin painted bamboo wood. Mattina is available in various colours.
