Stainless steel stirring rod
The The Tending Box Stirring rod from Alessi presents a special whisk that not only mixes the ingredients together, but at the same time is reminiscent of a well-known craft. The rubbing of the hands against each other and the resulting rotating rod are reminiscent of the technique of making fire. This friction sets the horizontally protruding "branches" at the end of the whisking rod into a rapid whisking motion.
