When Enzo Mari designed this waste-paper basket in 1971, he must have been thinking of stressed white collar workers. "In Attesa" means "awaiting", probably one should add: "paper".
It leans towards the one throwing in order to catch the waste which is thrown at it - the thrower has more success than with any other waste-paper basket.
The leaning waste-paper basket "in Attesa" is one of Enzo Mari's design classics. It is an outstanding, timeless article of daily use which should not be missing in any tasteful office.
