Stylish step ladder
Changing a light bulb, reaching for the book on the bookshelf or bringing the coffee grinder down from the top shelf in the kitchen. No
house is complete without a stepladder. As a rule, however, these are merely functional, dreary foreign bodies in one's living landscape. With Karl Malmvalls Step however, things are quite different. It is functional and decorative, a completely independent object in different colours. The folding ladder is so appealing that it can be left on the wall as a graphic accessory after use.
"We have more and more things in our homes. Electrical appliances, kitchen appliances, etc. We use our homes from floor to ceiling up. I would therefore like to put the Step be able to put the folding ladder easily accessible on the wall instead of hiding it in a cupboard" says Karl Malmvall.
Malmvall is very interested in mechanical design aspects, from pocket knives to garden furniture, which is what the small pole that Step has for hanging on the wall. "Just hang the ladder on the wall. It's only 50mm thick and always ready to be used."
The Step Folding ladder is available in different colours.
