Carpet with different layers
The Muuto Varjo rug was created by Danish designer Tina Ratzer. Varjo masters the fine balance between subtle carpet for all types of interiors and the richness of details for uniqueness.
Designer Tina Ratzer says about her Varjo rug: "I wanted to create a geometric rug with several layers and dimensions. I wanted to give the first layer an easy to understand statement and a harmonious color spectrum. One layer down, a dynamic herringbone pattern emerges, bringing a new dimension and a surprising twist."
The overlapping of the different layers of the Muuto Varjo carpet creates shadow effects that create a three-dimensional and elegant impression.
The Varjo rugs from Muuto are hand-woven, made of 100% New Zealand lambswool and are also available in other colours on request.
