Cushion with colourful herringbone pattern

The Herringbone cushion from Vitra convinces with a herringbone pattern in bright colours. The desinger duo Raw-Edges were inspired for the cushions by the technique of dyeing by immersion. The changes of different materials and shapes, when a part of them is dipped into a colour, exert an almost magical fascination on the designer couple Shay Alkalay and Yael Mer. In 2018, the two of them have furnished a floor of the VitraHaus on the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein.

Superimposed stripes in different colours

Harmonious and modern at the same time, the Herringbone cushions set modern accents on sofas or armchairs. The cover is made of cotton and the filling consists of feathers and down. The overlapping and overlapping stripes on the cover were worked out by dipping them several times in different colours and then adopted as an exact template for the printing process of the Herringbone cushions. Available in different colour combinations, the Herringbone becomes a beautiful decoration especially in the group. Thanks to the wide range of colours, it can be integrated into any living area.
