Weaving Technique
A Kelim is a woven rug that has been embellishing walls and floors of Middle Eastern homes for thousands of years. ferm Living was inspired by these textiles for the design of their Kelim Cushions, for two reasons: Like their role models, the ferm Living cushions are woven. Furthermore, typical of both a Kelim and of ferm Living: the inspiring geometrical patterns.
Native Wool
The material of the Kelim Cushions looks native and very natural due to the processing of 80% wool and 20% cotton as well as the filling of feathers and down. The different patterns and colours of the Kelim Cushions shout out their creative possibilities. This way, traditionally inspired cushions enter modern homes.
