Like many other great architects and designers of the 20. century, Charles and Ray Eames were also engaged in the design of textiles, thus implementing their ideas of colors, shapes and materials. The " Dot Pattern" was created in connection with an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art New York. It varies a graphic motif of crosses and circles into a large-scale composition and features references to Ray Eames' abstract paintings from the 1930s.
