The colored anodized vases Nuage Métallique by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Vitra create a delightful interplay of light and shadow. Thanks to the precision of their contour, they can also be combined to form entire "cloud formations". The special feature of the vase: thanks to the unique structure, flowers and branches can be stylishly arranged in the individual tubes.
The shape of the vases Nuage first appeared in the work of Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec in 2002: as large plastic modules reminiscent of clouds, which can be organically combined into groups and large compositions. Their surface is divided by eight tubular incisions, which together also form the outer contour.
For the vase Nuage the designers draw the cloud shape from solid aluminum profiles in different lengths. The basic shape is now used upright, dividing the vase into eight individual tubes into which arrangements of flowers and grasses can be set. The colored anodized wavy surfaces create a delightful play of light and shadow.
The Nuage Métallique vases from Vitra are available in three different sizes, which can be combined as desired.
