Lovely wiggle figure made of wood
A Hoptimist made of wood - as it was originally intended by designer Gustav Ehrenreich. For this reason Lotte Steffensen has Woody Bumble redesigned.
Ehrenreich, who launched the Hoptimist en in the 1960s, was a trained cabinetmaker. From the beginning, his greatest wish was to produce the Hoptimist en, which has since matured into a classic, from wood, but this was not possible with the techniques of the time. However, time worked in favor of this development: to make Ehrenreich's dream come true, the cheerful bimbles are now also available in wood.
Design meets handwork
This is a piece of true craftsmanship, a high-quality product assembled entirely by hand. The oak wood comes from sustainable European forests. The natural material gives each Hoptimist en its distinctive look. A special detail: the eyes are inlaid wenge wood and give the figure its liveliness.
