Description
The round metal wire basket "826" stands in the tradition of a long history of household items.
In the late 1940s, when Alessi shifted from handcrafted metal processing to industrial production, the wire basket was one of the first objects which emerged in the engineering department through research in using new technologies like the wire-bending machine.
The result: a creation of a little series of baskets with a very elementary character, which is still very popular today.
