Vitra - Hang It All Coat Rack

The Vitra Hang it all coat rack, designed in 1953, is one of the most famous designs by Ray and Charles Eames and is justifiably described as a design classic.

Originally designed as a children’s clothes rack, the classic from Vitra had colourful wooden balls to encourage children to hang up all their things, as the name ‘Hang it all’ suggests:

jackets, toys, skates, dolls and backpacks.

The last few decades have however shown that the classic Hang it all coat rack is a cheerful and functional alternative even outside the children’s room. The packaging, originally designed by Ray Eames, is today faithfully reproduced by Vitra.This makes the Hang it all coat rack not just an interior design classic, but also a wonderful gift.
