industrial desk made of wood and steel
Designed in the sixties by Wim Rietveld, the Pyramid desk is making Hay a comeback. The industrial desk made of wood and steel inspires with a timeless and rustic charm.
Design from the 50s
The Pyramid collection was created in 1960 - one year after the great success of the Result chair - which was known for its simple, straightforward design. Thanks to an elegant base frame made of bent sheet steel, all parts of the series fit together perfectly. The table top is made of solid oak wood. The re-edition of this series in original Mid-Century style proves that good design never goes out of fashion.
Cult furniture from Holland
For many Dutch people the Pyramid collection has a very special meaning. Due to the functional design, schools throughout the country were equipped with the furniture in the 60s and 70s. Formerly used in educational institutions, the collection has now achieved cult status and found its way into modern offices and workrooms.
The Pyramid table comes in different variations. Together with the Pyramid collection, consisting of benches and tables, the matching Result chair has also been relaunched.
