The Eames Stool was designed by Charles & Ray Eames in the year 1960. The stool is available in three different models that differ in the profile of their middle part. Every stool consists of solid walnut wood that is glued in several layers and transparently lacquered.
The turned stools can also be used as side tables if desired. The Eames stool was created in the year 1960. At that time, the Eames office was given the assignment of furnishing three lobbies in the Rockefeller Center in New York City by Time Inc. Aside from the whole interior work, comfortable lobby chairs and this series of solid walnut stools, produced by Vitra nowadays, were created in the scope of the project.
