Simple and minimalist stool
Combined as a bench or on its own - the stool with the name Schemel impresses with its simple and minimalist appearance and high functionality. The stool bench was designed by Studio taschide.
The Schemel stool bench is manufactured by the Caritas Wendelstein workshops in Rosenheim/Raubling for side by side . The stool is made of untreated wood. The German company side by side stands for close collaboration between designers and people with disabilities, in other words " side by side ".
"Design with a social character" was conceived in 2002 by product designer Sabine Meyer and launched on the market with the Caritas Wendelstein workshops. Over 30 designers now create high-quality and beautifully designed home accessories for everyday use. In this way, side by side enables disabled people to integrate socially and participate in professional activities.
