Sculptural Stool Made of Moulded Plywood
The Gallery Stool by Fredericia was originally designed by Hans Sandgren Jakobsen as a seat for guests at the Copenhagen Art Association exhibition. The unusual shape, constructed in molded plywood, left exhibition guests with a lasting impression of the chair as a sculpture in its own right.
Exceptionally Ornamental Shape
The minimalist and simple design is preceded by an elaborate and innovative process which makes it possible to form wood veneer in several dimensions. The veneer of the Gallery Stool is stretched to its maximum and is still very strong and durable. The result is a fragile-looking stool with a truly surprising amount of stability.
The Gallery Stool by Hans Sandgren Jakobsen for Fredericia is made in Denmark in various wood and color variations.
