Sideboard and TV console with reed weave
Air in the low version is a sideboard and TV console in one and was designed by Mathieu Gustafsson for Design House Stockholm . The designer with Swedish and French roots has succeeded in creating a special mix of both cultures with the unique design of the airy sideboard. Bright, natural materials are combined here with a touch of elegance.
Air is a piece of storage furniture that is made of an orderly, graphic frame construction in combination with walls made of a traditional reed weave and thereby conveys a special feeling of lightness and transparency. Air can be used as a free-standing room divider or placed on a wall.
With natural ventilation
The reed weave gives the sideboard a transparent surface, but also conveys a feeling of depth. The transparent design also fulfills a function. The reed mesh ventilates the cabinet, which is practical when storing clothes and electronic devices.
Scandinavian expression with French style
Air is given a unique personality through the mix of a refined Scandinavian expression and a touch of French style and elegance. The use of reed is unexpected for this piece of furniture, but makes the design appear light and fresh. By exceeding the usual limits, the Scandinavian design is redesigned and makes the sideboard an eye-catcher in the living area.
