OK Design was inspired by the glamorous times of American gangsters when it came to design the Bam Bam Big n’ Low. The table came about following the example of the classic chair, which is also in the Danish manufacturer’s range.
The Bam Bam table was clearly visually inspired by the classic Condesa and Acapulco chairs. The round design with stripes, which looks as good then as it does now also looks good in a table. And that’s how the Bam Bam Big n’ Low table reminds us of the spectacular 50s, when Hollywood stars and Mafia gangsters such as Al Capone shook hands in Mexico.
OK Design produces the Bam Bam Big n’ Low with a frame out of black, powder-coated steel and an oak table top. An edition with a stained ash top is also available. As well as the Bam Bam Big n’Low, there is also a higher edition called Bam Bam Small n' Tall, whereby of course the combination of both sizes looks especially attractive.
