The T-Table is the result of the meeting from Patricia Urquiola’s creativity and the technical know-how from Kartell. The small side table is branded by its three-leg frame and a table top that comes along elegantly and expressively with its omitted and filled areas.
The pattern of the table top creates associations with classic stitching or the washed structures of a coral. Elegantly and full of poetical expression, the T-Table is a noticeable side table whose design wouldn’t have been realizable without the long-time experience from the Italian company Kartell.
Kartell and Patricia Urquiola’s wish of creating innovative surfaces and new visual and tactile effects was behind the appearance of the T-Table. The challenge thereby was to offer the necessary stability to the holey design of the table. As a result of wide research in the technical area, Kartell finally manufactured the T-Table out of PMMA. PMMA (Polymethyl methacrylate) is a high quality material regarding its aesthetic and function. It is transparent, resistant and weatherproof; it offers the necessary stability to the holey design of the T-Table.
Kartell offers its T-Table in three different heights and in numerous transparent and one opaque colour.
