"Don't leave me" side table
"DLM" - "Don't leave me" is what designer Thomas Bentzen from Louise Campbell design studio in Copenhagen called his side table. And in view of this simple beauty, no one would think of leaving the piece of furniture behind alone.
The Danish designer's clear, straightforward understanding of design speaks from the design. No part is too much about DLM - and none too little: the three feet of the steel frame give it a firm hold. The plate, which is also made of steel, provides sufficient space to place the essentials on it. And the handle, curved like a walking stick, once again clearly expresses the idea of the design table: Take me with you! Whether to the sofa, beside the lounge chair or the bed, DLM is the perfect alternative to the otherwise so heavy and immovable side tables.
With this harmony of form and function, Hay DLM joins the group of Scandinavian design classics without simply copying the masters of the fifties and sixties. This balance of tradition and modernity is a declared goal of the Danish manufacturer Hay from Horsens, whose collection DLM fits perfectly.
