String can be varied and expanded - always in tune with your demands. Here there’s space for everything, starting with books and through to your stereo system or computer. Compared to many other shelving systems, it’s very easy to put together the individual components:
The basis lies in the lateral, ladder-like bars in white and the individual shelf panels.
On top of that, the shelf can be enhanced with other parts, e.g. a magazine rack, a cupboard with sliding doors or a worktop which makes the shelf a desk. The panel components are available in natural birch, natural walnut and natural oak finishes as well as MDF painted black or white.
The steel side components are available in white, black or grey. The String wall shelf comes in depths of 20 and 30 cm.
For the latter version, there are also floor brackets available with stable feet in addition to the wall brackets. The panels are available in both depths and in two different lengths.
To avoid sagging, you should endeavour to evenly distribute a maximum weight of 15 kg per 78 cm-wide shelf and 20 kg per 58 cm-wide shelf.
