Classic shelf by Paul McCobb
The Planner shelf from Fritz Hansen combines graphic aesthetics with an elegant expression. Designed in 1949 by Paul McCobb, a pioneer of contemporary design, the timeless design breathes new life into the multifunctional appearance and combines classic forms with modernity in a special way.
Made of powder-coated steel and oak veneer
The Bauhaus-inspired shelf consists of a powder-coated steel frame with a matt finish. Joints are welded by hand and slightly rounded to create a soft impression. Diagonally arranged rods provide additional support and give the impression of dynamism. The shelves are made from oak veneer, with the edges beveled to blend seamlessly with the frame.
Named for its ability to help shape the look of a room, the simple yet striking shelf is available in three versions, each available in different heights and configurations.
