The Soft Edge 70 stool by the designer duo Iskos-Berlin combines detailed design with robust materials thanks to its unusual manufacturing technique. To form the ergonomic seat perfectly, Iskos-Berlin and the manufacturer Hay used an innovative technique for the deformation of plywood.

The inviting seat in matt lacquered oak veneer with its strong curves contrasts excitingly with the straight-lined design of the legs. The materials couldn't be more different either, with the legs made from powder-coated steel. They give the stool an industrial flair and make it look good in a wide variety of situations.

Durable and stackable

Thanks to its thoughtful design and careful selection of materials, the stool is exceptionally lightweight. It can be stacked easily and safely. This makes it all the more interesting for public use. Its robust nature is perfect for everyday school use or busy restaurants. But the Soft Edge stool is also a real asset in private use. Due to its practical size, it can be used both as a stool and as a side table.
