New interpretation of the wicker chair
The Nomad Lounge Chair by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for Norr11 is a Nordic interpretation of the traditional Moroccan wicker chair. The name of the chair is composed of the words "Nordic" and "Maroccan". As a reinterpretation of the complex wicker chair, the Nomad Lounge armchair is made from a single piece and its construction is reduced to the essentials.
Timeless and at the same time extraordinary, the armchair becomes an absolute eye-catcher in any room.
Made of bamboo with leather upholstery
The seat and backrest consist of two large moulded bamboo frames with inlaid French rorbu wickerwork. The semi-transparent wickerwork gives the large surface a light expression and underlines the beautiful construction. The armchair also includes seat and neck cushions made of aniline leather. They provide the extra portion of comfort.
