Award winning chair for the dining room
Skagerak's Vester Chair is a comfortable dining chair with a well-proportioned design. Discreetly elegant and restrained, the chair does not lose momentum despite many straightforward elements and can be presented in both private and public spaces such as restaurants. This also convinced the jury of the Danish Design Awards 2020, which is why Vester was chosen as the furniture of the year.
The chair was designed by Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm for the Danish Svinkløv Badehotel.
Oak wood and brass details
Several unique details distinguish the Vester Suhl by Skagerak: A transverse brass rod that indicates where the chair can be pulled out, legs that continue up into the backrest and become a small hook to hang handbags or jackets, and a body of gold-oiled oak that contrasts naturally with the brass details.
