Fiber Chair with wooden legs
Environment is trump card: The Muuto Fiber Chair, designed by Iskos-Berlin, is a chair made of innovative shell material consisting of recyclable plastic and wood fibres. The upholstery is covered with high-quality fabric and leather.
While the material of the Fiber Chair Wood Base from Muuto is completely new, the silhouette is inevitably reminiscent of a great classic: the Eames Plastic Armchair . The design of the chair with wooden legs is no coincidence, because just as with its design model, the Muuto Fiber Chair every line and every detail is designed to offer maximum comfort in minimum space. The classic style ensures that the Fiber Chair is suitable for any dining room, table, conference room, auditorium and office.
Classic style and innovative material
"One of the most difficult and noble disciplines is design without eccentricity. The creation of simple, well-functioning, almost ordinary objects, which nevertheless offer a lot of identity" , according to the designer team Iskos-Berlin, who, contrary to all assumptions, come from Copenhagen. "We designed the Fiber Chair to do just that with a clear sculptural language that makes no compromises in comfort. The chair has been freed of all unnecessary intermediate elements. It's perfect for making yourself comfortable. This cult form results in a gentle composition, the inviting curves meet an environmentally friendly wood fibre mixture, which is a distinctive and tangible trademark of the Muuto Fiber Chair is and makes it 100% recyclable."
The shell of the designer chair from Muuto consists of a mixture containing 25% wood fibres and 75% recyclable polypropylene. The frame of the Fiber Chair Wood Base is made of oak wood. Leather and textile covers make the chair particularly comfortable.
