Armchair with skid frame
The Fiber Armchair Sled Base by Muuto is an innovative shell chair with a metal frame in the shape of a skid. The seat shell is made of 25% wood fibre and 75% recyclable polypropylene, which is 100% recyclable.
The Fiber Chair was designed by the designer duo Iskos-Berlin from Copenhagen. The design was focused on maximum comfort and attention to detail. The result is a chair that fits perfectly into the home ambience and can be used at the dining table or desk. But the Fiber Armchair Sled Base can also be used in hotels, offices or conference rooms.
Classic style and innovative material
"One of the most difficult and noble disciplines is design without eccentricity. The creation of simple, well-functioning, almost ordinary objects, which nevertheless offer a lot of identity," says the design team Iskos-Berlin. "We designed the Fiber Chair to do just that with a clear sculptural language that makes no compromises in comfort. The chair has been freed of all unnecessary intermediate elements. Perfect for making yourself at home."
The Fiber Chair Series includes the Sled Base as well as bases made of wood or star frames. The Fiber Chair is also available without armrests or as a lounge version.
