The Soft Edge 40 chair impresses with its minimalist, straightforward design. Designed by designer duo Iskos-Berlin, the chair impresses with its outstanding quality and attention to detail. Together with the Danish manufacturer Hay, Iskos-Berlin developed a wooden chair with filigree charm that is not only visually appealing, but also ergonomic.

Robust, stackable chair

To achieve the particularly comfortable, ergonomic curves, they used an innovative technique for shaping plywood. A not very widespread manufacturing technique, which makes possible an almost three-dimensional surface shaping. Its rounded seat and back make the otherwise plain chair look comfortable and inviting.

Contrasts: wood + steel

The powder-coated steel legs are an exciting contrast to the wood veneer seat. They give the chair an industrial flair and are convincing in the most diverse areas of use. Another advantage: due to its lightness, up to eight chairs can be stacked on top of each other. Thus, the chair is also suitable for bars and restaurants, as it can be stored in a space-saving way when not in use.
