The Grand Prix chair from Fritz Hansen is a timeless classic: it enhances the entire room with its elegance without pushing itself too much into the foreground. The Grand Prix chair got its name after winning the "Grand Prix" at the XI Triennale di Milano in 1957. It was designed by the legendary Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen in 1957 7.
The seat shell is made of ash veneer and the frame of the stackable chair is made of tubular steel. Numerous colors and different frame variants are available. The color palette Sense of Colour was developed in collaboration with the creative visionary Carla Sozzani. All colors within the palette complement each other, creating endless combination possibilities with subtle warmth and harmony.
