Chair with armrests and wickerwork
The 118 F armchair Rohrgeflecht by Sebastian Herkner for Thonet is a modern and at the same time filigree chair whose shape is reminiscent of the classic bentwood chairs from Thonet and whose subtle elegance makes it an eye-catcher at any dining table. The principle of reducing a chair to as few components as possible was already introduced by Michael Thonet in the middle of the 1 9. century.
Curved seat frame and Viennese weave
The timeless 118 F armchair refers in its form of the curved seat frame to the 214 bentwood chair. The hand-finished seat is also covered with the iconic Viennese wickerwork (cane weave).
The chair gets new elements from its legs. Rounded on the back and straight on the inside, the chair legs take on the horseshoe shape of the seat. In addition, there is a wide and inviting armrest, which makes sitting in the model particularly comfortable. 118 F particularly comfortable.
Refined details give the 118 F armchair a less dominant appearance and at the same time make it more distinguished. This makes it versatile and allows it to be integrated into a wide variety of room situations - in your own four walls and in public areas.
