Mobile is a chest of drawers on wheels from Kartell, characterized by its agility, mobility, practicality, resistance and durability. The compact design was coined by Antonio Citterio and Glen Oliver Löw.
The drawers are the fundamental elements of the system of containers. The body of Mobil consists of PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate). The solid and weather-resistant plastic is a material of the highest aesthetic and functional quality. The drawers rest in a frame made of chromium-plated steel tube.
Kartell offers Mobil in a number of different versions, making it possible to integrate it into different decors. Mobil can be used as a simple drawer element with two to six drawers and can be equipped with practical handles. The various modules can either be mounted on castors or on fixed feet and can be used for different areas: from the bedroom to the living room and bathroom, as a stereo stand, or in the study or office as desk drawers for office supplies and documents.
The mobile system of containers by Kartell was awarded the prestigious design prize Compasso d'Oro in 1994 for its look and functional qualities.
