Wave-shaped Room Divider
Cartoons create a special space separator, which simultaneously appears baroque and minimalist.
The curved shape is reminiscent of the wavy designs of Alvar Aalto. Luigi Baroli designed the Cartoons room divider for Baleri Italia in 1992 (formerly Cerruti Baleri).
In 1994, the room divider was honored with the Compasso d’Oro award and has been in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art since 2001. The self-supporting structure of the partition consists of corrugated cardboard, which is extracted from pure pulp and - free of non-environmentally friendly residues - is completely recyclable. The upper and lower edges are made of matte black high-tech polymer.
The end elements for the reinforcement are in satin aluminium-cast. In addition to the colors offered here, the Cartoons room divider is also available in other variants.
