Cloakroom rail with rings
The Hoop coat rack by Normann Copenhagen is a multifunctional wall mounted coat rack designed by the Canadian design studio MSDS. In contrast to other wardrobes, Hoop does not have hooks, but rings in whose cavities further space for hanging is hidden.
"We wanted to design a wall wardrobe that is functional but without the typical hook shape. We've given Hoop a softer shape that's more fun and inviting than the often tool-like look of traditional coat hook rails," explains MSDS Studio .
Made of ash wood and metal
The wardrobe is made of ash wood, while the four filigree rings are made of metal. It can hold jackets and coats in the hallway, skilfully stage accessories such as scarves or necklaces and serve as a wardrobe for trousers and co. in the bedroom. Because thanks to the cut-outs, the coat hangers also find a place in the Hoop wardrobe.
