Straight table with careful details
The 70/70 dining table, measuring 170 x 85 cm, was designed in 2013 by the TAF Architects design team for the company Muuto . The simple Scandinavian aesthetic of the table is enhanced by the careful detailing of the tabletop and the angular profile of the table frame. The latter is also the table's namesake. The profile measures exactly 70 x 70 mm in height and width. The table's unobtrusive shape makes it multifunctional. It cuts a fine figure as a dining table as well as a desk.
Material and workmanship
The tabletop of the 70/70 table is made of a stable multiplex board, whose glued layers are a special design feature of the table. Depending on the variant, the surface is made of wood or covered with a hard-wearing linoleum or laminate. The table frame, in turn, is made of die-cast aluminium and is screwed to the tabletop.
