The Georg Desk from Danish manufacturer Skagerak was reduced to the bare essentials by designer Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm. With two round legs and rounded edges, the table is made entirely of solid oak wood. The narrow workstation is designed to lean against the wall and does not require screws or assembly to do so. The leaning furniture thus offers a space-saving surface for the living room, hallway or in the bedroom - depending on where the practical worktop is needed. The desk is also available with four legs.
The piece of furniture is suitable as a flexible workstation for laptop and tablet or as a storage surface for books and magazines. The clear design of the Georg Desk ensures order and does not allow any unrest to arise. Mobility and flexibility are also maximized by the minimalist design, because the Georg Desk can quickly change its place. In addition, the secretary can be complemented by the Georg Desk drawer, which is attached to the right or left under the tabletop.
For the Georg Skagerak series, Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm gave additional furniture a new meaning as characteristic furnishing elements, as they have actually always deserved. The furniture of the Georg Collection with unusual leg position and reduced forms are made of oak wood. In the natural wood version, the designer piece by Skagerak adds a touch of naturalness to the ambience, while the black version looks noble and elegant. In contrast to the Georg Console table , the desk offers a larger surface and the possibility of mounting one or two practical drawers.
