After the Miura and Myto projects, the Monza chair is the product the continued development and deepening collaboration between Konstantin Grcic and Plank.
The project combines wood and plastic injection moulding, and thus the handicraft roots of Plank with the hallmarks of modern industrial design.
A reduced wooden construction lies at the heart of the Monza armrest chair, which is inspired formally by the typology of Scandinavian wooden chairs. Its character is defined by the plastic backrest, which on one hand ensures stability for the frame and on the other also gives the chair comfort and colour.
