The J77 is part of the chair collection originally produced by FDB and reissued by Folke Pålsson for Hay: A classic chair in Danish design that is absolutely timeless.

Folke Pålsson designed in the middle of the last century his J77 Chair : He based the design on the traditional Windsor chairs, which enjoyed great popularity as early as the 1 8. century. To bring the Windsor chairs into the modern era, the Dane reduced the design to the bare essentials without losing sight of the classic virtues.

The production of beech wood and the slender shape of the bars on the backrest give the J77 Chair by Hay a look that is at once light and yet solid. The wide seat makes the J77 comfortable, while its classic minimalist design allows it to fit into a wide variety of environments.

The chairs of the J series are suitable for private use only. Use in public spaces is not recommended.
