The J110 is part of the new edition of Danish furniture classics from Hay . The chair, designed by Poul M. Volther in the middle of the last century, embodies Danish design in its purest form. J110 Chair aesthetic design in combination with outstanding functionality. Simple shapes inspired by nature add a touch of Scandinavian elegance to the living space.

Windsor style

Originally the J110 Chair was designed with the idea of democratising good and functional design: Borrowing from the typical Windsor chairs of the 1 8. century, the J110 interprets the slender wooden rods and high backrest in a timeless design. The slenderness of the rods and the material structure make the dining chair from Hay appear stable and light at the same time. For these reasons, the J110, produced by FDB at the time, quickly became a success.

Made of beech wood

Hay manufactures the J110 Chair from beech wood. With a seat height of 44.5 cm, the J110 from Hay is perfect for the dining table, while its high seat back has the effect of an armchair:: The wide seat and high backrest give the J110 an unusually high level of comfort for dining table chairs.

The chairs in the J series are suitable for private use only. Use in public spaces is not recommended.
