The Series 7 chair by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen has been upgraded for its 60th anniversary! Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1955, Series 7 has been presented at Fritz Hansen since 2015 in colors curated by artist Tal R.

Lacquered or dyed chair

The molded seat shells of Series 7 are available as a monochrome version in two different finishes. On the one hand with a glazed seat shell made of ash wood and on the other hand as a lacquered model. The difference: in the stained version, the typical and individual wood grain of the seat shell remains visible. This emphasizes the natural look and organic silhouette of the Series 7. The lacquered models, on the other hand, stand out with a silky and uniform seat shell. In this version, the wood grain is covered by a soft layer of paint.

Wide range of colors

Both versions - the lacquered and dyed monochrome models - are available in different colors on request.

Harmonious unity through identical colors

The Monochrom Series 7 chairs impress with their uniform appearance. In this version, the classic four-legged base is presented in the same colors as the softly shaped seat shells. The two individual parts of the chair blend harmoniously to form a single unit.

As a minimalist or colorful version, the Monochrom Series 7 chair is the new version of a classic. Colored or lacquered on request, the Arne Jacobsen chair with a colored base is now even more homely - for the dining room, the workplace or as a special eye-catcher in the living room.
