Hay - Terrazzo Table (round)

The round Terrazzo table from Hay is a versatile table for outdoor and indoor use. The table is designed especially for environments where high quality and durability are required - such as cafés, restaurants, gardens, terraces or balconies. The designer Daniel Enoksson has therefore chosen only certain materials that withstand the conditions in the outdoor area exceptionally well.

While the round tabletop is made of durable, powder-coated steel, the base is made of solid Terrazzo . Despite its robust properties, this appears colourful and somewhat playful, creating a stylistically intentional break between the top and the base. Although Terrazzo has similar properties to concrete, the former material has a much more impressive surface that does not go unnoticed.

The designer Daniel Enoksson himself says about the material: "I first discovered Terrazzo years ago as paving at most of the subway stations in Stockholm. I've thought it a shame since then that the material hasn't been used for more useful things, because it's a fantastic material for outdoor use and also has a beautiful, vibrant aesthetic."

The table is available in grey / light grey and red colour options.
