Pyramid: Retro Design From the 50s
The Pyramid bench was designed in 1959 by Wim Rietveld in the Netherlands as part of the Pyramid collection. The wooden bench with a steel frame by Ahrend is now available as a re-edition by Hay.
Bench with an Industrial Look
The Pyramid collection, as well as the matching Result chairs are characterised by a simple, straightforward design. Thanks to the seat made of oak veneer and the curved steel frame, the bench has an industrial design.
The Pyramid bench is ideal for the hallway or dining room and represents a clear furnishing style. Even in narrow spaces, enough seating can be created.
Dutch Design from School
For many Dutch people, this collection is particularly close to the heart. In the sixties and seventies, schools were equipped with the Result chairs and the Pyramid collection because of their functional design. Therefore, many nostalgic memories connect their school days with this piece of furniture.
The Pyramid bench comes in different variations. In addition to the Pyramid collection consisting of benches and tables, the matching Result chairs were also re-issued.
Stackable Wooden Bench
With different bases, the Pyramid bench is available in two versions - stackable and non-stackable - as well as with different lengths of up to 250 cm.
